The Climate Summit is creating a forum to bring us all together to shape a sustainable, low-carbon future. And we are doing so with minimal carbon-footprint by use of telepresence as an alternative to conventional ‘meet-in-a-city’ conferences. Even our website is hosted by the carbon-neutral Dreamhost.com.
We are a grass-roots project aspiring to the heights of social and intellectual collaboration, and the creation of meaningful, timely and sustained action on climate change mitigation (prevention), and adaptation, that is adjustment to the changes which are already beyond our powers to prevent.
We are supported by the generous donations of individuals like you, and those companies and organizations who realize the need to address the climate crisis from this broad-based, fundamentally democratic empowerment of individuals to make a difference. We encourage you to offer us your support not only in financial terms if you are able to make a donation large or small, but by spreading the word about The Climate Summit with our Introduction, by inviting those like-minded organizations and groups you are associated with using our Partner Invitation, by joining The Climate Summit Team, and of course by your Registering for the Climate Summit yourself. There is also a Speaker Invitation for you to use if you know someone who you think would be an appropriate RoundTable member.
