There is a great need today to speed society’s recognition, understanding, and action on the overarching problems of climate change and sustainability. National and international diplomatic responses to the threat have not been adequate to create meaningful, comprehensive agreements, or solutions.

To foster local, national, and international conversations to create a unified voice that will guide and influence people, institutions, and governments on how to best address the issues of climate change and sustainability.
Our Mission
The Climate Summit is a global consortium of concerned individuals and institutions committed to addressing the dual issues of climate change and sustainable development. We utilize common, innovative and advanced communication technologies to increase awareness and create a forum through which the global community can join together for discussion, deliberation and action. We believe that climate discussions should not end with political and scientific leaders, but concerned global citizens should have a voice as well. We aim to bring together all communities committed to saving the planet under one roof.
The Climate Summit currently relies upon social media from Facebook to Twitter, ongoing conversations with textual chat, voice and video conferencing, as well as high-bandwidth TelePresence technology. This range of communication media are intended to make The Climate Summit accessible to diverse populations in both the developed and developing nations and to substitute for physical travel, an integral part of our vision as society adjusts to a low-carbon future.
