Expansion
The Climate Summit is expanding and we welcome you to participate in that expansion.
Our April 16th event was only the first small step with so much more to do. We see ourselves as a global congress assembling delegations from all nations and regions of Earth. We hope to help fill a niche between the people of Earth who will experience the consequences of the growing climate destabilization, the governments and commercial interests of Earth operating under limited notions of national advantage and impossible models of unlimited economic growth.
Expansion of The Climate Summit will use all the tools at our disposal and will be fun and engaging. We will use the social media like Facebook and Twitter to showcase what we are doing and involve more people from those audiences. We will use Internet communications media for our team meetings including text chat, voice conference calls and 'webinars', and even multipoint video conferencing when and where we can.
Our main presence on Facebook is as The Climate Summit, but our Italian team for instance has established an Italian Climate Summit Facebook Group and our Canadian team has The Climate Summit Canada as its Facebook presence. Other national and regional groups are planning to follow suit. We are on Twitter as ClimateSummit10, and you are welcome to retweet us personally or establish language variants for your own mother tongue.
